If you are registered at any of the Work and Income sites in these maps, then you will be eligible for the Driver Licence services we offer within that region’s service areas.
Things we will cover during our training:
- Basic pre drive procedure and vehicle controls
- Safe driving best practice
- Starting, gear change (manual and auto)
- Stopping and parking
- Correct mirror use and identifying blind-spots
- Intersections, give-way and stop rules
- Hill starts and parking
- 3 point turns
- Parallel parking and angle parking
- Lane changing
- On and off ramps merging into higher speed zones and expressway/motorway driving
- Reversing in a straight line and into a driveway
- Hazard detection (a big part of the full licence test)
- Preparation for the driving test
IMPORTANT INFORMATION & TERMS OF TRADE:
- Students must have their drivers licence on them and any supplied vehicles must be of WOF standard.
- By law you must hold a learners licence (have done the theory test) before we can start your practical driving lessons.
