Last week was Tobias’ first day at his new job after recently graduating from our Careers Unlimited Level 1 course.
He has now secured employment as a traffic controller with Allied Work Force.
Tobias learnt a range of skills on the course including budgeting, health & safety in the workplace, communication skills
and earned 60 credits towards NCEA L1.
Before Tobias was on the course, he was getting into trouble at school. “You don’t get into trouble at EmployNZ because you
want to be here, the course set me up for the job, I felt like I knew what I was getting into and had the right attitude” Tobias explained.
Careers Unlimited is a 26-week NCEA level 1 course focused on life skills – it is open to all ages 16+
